Hi all, my name is Skye, as most of you have seen on the 5th of October there was a fire causing a road shut off on Greengate lane. The fire has been deemed arson by the police and fire brigade, 50 haylage bales have been destroyed, the surrounding fences to keep the animals safe and off the road have been destroyed with now a field out of use and electric fencing too. As a family we are absolutely devastated this has happened, my grandad has spent a lot of time, effort and money in making these bales for someone to destroy them in a matter of seconds. After the summer we’ve had and the difficulties farmers have faced on making hay he now has had his whole supply ruined. As someone had suggested making a go fund me to help fund what has been lost I as his granddaughter have taken the opportunity to make one I can honestly say that the money raised will go towards food and fencing as I understand that everyone is in different situations we do not expect people to donate and if you can’t a share is greatly appreciate, thank you for taking the time to read this post!
