Thank you to all that contributed to the fundraiser for our security team's efforts during Irma. We had a fantastic response and collected $3,350 from 34 families in just a few days! The funds will be provided to the Bryant employees next week.  Here is feedback received from Rene Zerquera, Vice President of Bryant Security:

"As much as this acknowledgement should not surprise me, it is simply amazing how your residents appreciate our security staff out there. I've said it time and time again, you have the most wonderful group of security and liaison committee members and residents which I have ever experienced in over 30 years in this business.

The residents and management of Hawks Landing are generously showing their appreciation to the staff. I am humbled beyond belief."

Update on fundraiser - closing tomorrow
Due to the overwhelming response (we met our initial goal in a few hours) we have upped the goal for the fundraiser by another $1000 so we can also recognize the shift supervisors Ray Ryals, Jeremiah Cruz and Ralph Desroaches which all stepped up to the plate while Sam Amador, our Director of Security, was deployed by the National Guard during the storm. Please note the fundraiser will close tomorrow at 5pm.

We will print out the comments from both the GoFundMe and FB pages and include with the gift. Thank you all for your generosity.

Last week, during hurricane Irma, employees of Bryant Security showed their true commitment to protecting our community.

The following 6 guards volunteered to work during the storm and were onsite from Saturday at 7pm through Monday morning: Phillip Adams, Jeremiah Cruz, Casey Lorber, Gabriel Taveras, Nathaniel Walker and Anthony George. While we all spent time with our families (and many of us traveled away to escape the storm), these guards left their own homes and loved ones to watch over Hawks Landing for more than 36 hours straight.

The Hawks Landing Security Committee set up a fund raiser for residents to express their appreciation. Let's thank this amazing team for going above and beyond their call of duty and protecting our families and properties during Irma.  All funds will be equally distributed among these individuals -- we would love to give at least $250 per guard.  Thank you for your generosity :)
