Brad Haws - Heel Surgery and Recovery
Donation protected
Update: I just got this picture of the screws that Brad has in his heel. This is why it is a life changing accident. He can't work for another 4 - 8 weeks.
Right Now we are trying to raise enough money to make their June Rent and Car Payments. So please do what you can and please send this to everyone you know and the people that know Brad and Robin that I might have missed
Thank you for the donations that have come in but we need more.
Brad Haws is a hard working father of 7 kids, ages 20 to 3 year old. Robin, his wife is a stay at home mom who is very involved in church and all the kids school activities. She also makes craft signs which she sells on line to help bring in some income. She is also a volleyball coach at the local schools.
This is what happened on March 22nd.
Brad was on a job, in Portland, he installs window coverings when he fell off a 13 ft ladder and broke his heel. He was rushed to the ER but because he lives in Spokane WA he called his wife to come pick him up. Robin rushed the kids off to grandmas and headed out to pick him up.
When they returned to Spokane they went directly to their Doctors who put him in the hospital and told him that this was a "Life Changing Injury". He had surgery the next day.
He went to the doctors today and they told him that he has to stay off his foot for another month. At that time he can start putting a little weight on it.
Because he is an independent contractor he has had no income coming in for 8 weeks and they are looking at another 4-8 week again without an income. Robin has been selling on the web anything she can think to sell, she has taken on a babysitting job of a newborn 3-4 days a week to help bring money in. Their family has also helped but with this news today I just had to start a fund raiser to try to help them out.
These are good hard working, church going people who need help.
Please donate anything that your heart tells you to do.
Thank you so much
