Marches, rallies, and convoys are exciting and important. But what’s the point if our decision-makers don’t care? It’s time for us to rise up and build real power.
Help us organize the most coordinated Aloha 'Āina uprising in modern history--to unite communities, recruit hundreds of volunteers, build up new leaders, educate our neighbors, and rally thousands to the polls. We’re taking streets of people directly to the seats of power.

We will utilize cutting edge digital organizing tools to maximize in-person contact. First, we will use GoFundMe to raise enough funds to get it off the ground--register as a legal entity or acquire a fiscal sponsor, develop branding, launch a website, etc. Once we establish our digital infrastructure, we'll transition to the website and digital tools to leverage seed money and scale-up. Like any campaign, funds will go to tech fees, labor stipends (branding, website, etc.), and communication tools. br />
Update: The TMT corporation has spent over $600,000 on propaganda telling our neighbors what’s best for Hawaiians. They are trying to speak for us, and discard Native voices—as colonizers have done for centuries.
It’s time we speak for ourselves. We may not have billionaires funders, but we have the people. If we all chip-in what we can, we will be able to shift the tides in a big way.
Keep in mind that it's not easy living on a mountain, especially going on three months now. Our Kia'i have literally weather storms to build a sustainable sanctuary at the site of direct action on Maunakea, and they're planning on staying there as long as it takes.
Now, we must do our part to extend this freedom and protection for our culture and environment all across Hawaii. Lāhui Rising will host events, canvassing, and phone banking because we understand that change comes when we share our experiences and have thousands of meaningful with one another.
