Jacquelyne and I are extremely excited and full of anticipation for our special day and we cannot wait to share it with you. Our intention, in addition to a celebration of our union, is we all share in a celebration of family, old friends, and new friends coming together to have a magical evening in San Diego.
Rather than a traditional registry, we have elected to set-up a gift fund page that allows those that wish to offer a gift to contribute to a fund for our honeymoon. We chose this option for several reason: 1) We have everything we need in our daily lives 2) We are focusing the majority of our resources on the wedding, a little help on the honeymoon would go a long way 3) In the months following our wedding our lives are going to get very busy with Jacquelyne beginning workups for another deployment and RB beginning the time demanding job as a Series Commander at the Marine Recruit Depot. Our goal with our honeymoon is to take the opportunity to share very special time together before the onslaught of new work schedules and a deployment cut into our opportunities to be together.
For our honeymoon, we plan to go to the islands of Hawaii or somewhere similiar and tropical for 5-7 days of adventure and relaxation. All money donated will go to the funding of the trip to include hotel, airfare, food, and activities such as this:
Airfare per person $1000
Daily Hotel Rate $ 100-150
Daily meals $50-150
Surfing lessons for two $200
Snorkeling adventure for two $200
ATV Tour for two $240
Hula lessons for RB – No amount of money in world would be able to cover the amount of time needed to make this happen.
