The Dillon County Animal Shelter, Friends Helping the Dillon Shelter, and the Humane Society of Dillon County are joining forces to save 12 beautiful Dillon Shelter dogs who all came to the shelter with heartworms. Without medical treatment, each one of these dogs is doomed to die a miserable, painful death. We need everyone’s help to raise the funds for their fast-kill treatment. The necessary medications are figured and priced by weight, and most of these pups are big guys and girls, so treatment for all of them will cost about $5,000.  Our wish beyond treatment is to find fosters and adopters for these dogs once they are healthy.
