Have a heart and help baby Henry

Meet Henry. This beautiful little boy is my niece's baby. He is just a month old. Henry was born with a severe congenital heart defect known as Hypoplastic Right Heart Syndrome which is caused by tricuspid atresia. Henry's tricuspid valve didn't form so he does not have blood flow to his right ventricle which makes it too small to pump blood to his lungs. Basically, Henry has half a heart.

Henry will need open heart surgery between three and six months and a second open heart surgery around two to four years old.

He had to be admitted back into the hospital recently and back into the NICU due to his oxygen levels dropping. Now he is facing an additional surgery next week to place a shunt in his heart.

My niece Micaela Chandler and her partner Morgan Richardson have been at the hospital 'round the clock and will continue to be there for the next four to six weeks. Besides the stress and worry over Henry, they also have six-year-old Charlotte to think about and of course the ever-increasing hospital bills. I am hoping to raise funds to help this young family with the insurmountable medical bills they are facing over the next few years. If we can help them by taking care of the medical bills and expenses while living at the hospital, it will take one worry off their plate.
