Hatherop Playground Rebuild
Donation protected
Hatherop Parish Council and the village community are urgently fundraising to rebuild our playground equipment which failed its annual safety inspection (ROSPA) in 2019.
The playground is enormously important to Hatherop and the surrounding villages. It has contributed greatly to the village remaining a thriving multi-generational community. Without a village hall it creates a hub for local families, carers, grandparents, and visitors to get together. Situated next to a football pitch in idyllic scenery, with no adjacent roads, it is a safe place for children to enjoy freedom, immersion in nature and screen-free activity.
In order to rebuild the playground, Hatherop Parish Council and community face the task of raising £30,000 by April 2020. The Parish Council will contribute £5000 towards this target.
If you are able to contribute to this fundraising project it would be very much appreciated by our community.
With many thanks. We are so grateful for your support.
