I am running the Chicago Marathon this year to raise money for Chicago HOPES for Kids.
I have volunteered and served on the Executive Board of this wonderful 501 (c)(3) organization for over 3 years. We provide educational support for K-5th grade students who live in various homeless shelters in Chicago.
A couple of years ago, I raised money for my birthday and you all helped me donate all of the over $1,500 raised. My goal for the marathon on October 7th, is only $1,000!
