Many of you know and love our furry canine angel Hassan. Though he's getting older he's quite healthy and happy....except for his rear right knee. Just like those famous basketball players, his ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) is ruptured and he needs surgery so he can frolic once again pain-free and without limping. It is an outpatient procedure that has a VERY high success rate, but it is quite expensive, and our low incomes can't fully shoulder it. Besides the obvious pain and mobility reasons, there is a high risk that not having this surgery could cause even more serious problems with his hips and other knees, so it is necessary and urgent to get it done.
