Hurricane Harvey Employee Relief

Hurricane Harvey directly impacted 25% of Universal Home Experts employees. The money raised by this campaign will go directly to those impacted. I would like to share a few words about the experiences of some of these outstanding people.
One of our electricians, Carlos, was flooded out of his home and evacuted on foot through flood waters to a family member's home. That family member's home was then flooded the next day and he had to evacuate by foot through chest deep waters to a shelter. He was not able to physically make it into work for over a week due to high flood waters. He has a two month old baby as well. His entire home and furnishings are lost.
An HVAC tech, Scott, who is also a reserve Marine was not able to return to his home for over a week while he assisted his unit in rescuing people from their homes. His furniture was ruined by the high humidity of an unairconditioned and water logged home. We would love to provide him a new couch and baby items for his son that will be arriving any day now.
Our dispatcher, Crystal, lost her apartment after it was flooded. She had just moved in two months ago with her three sons who are school aged.
Our call center manager was trapped in another state unable to return to her home for a week only to find water coming through her daughter's bedroom ceiling.
These are but a few examples of the challenges our employees are facing. They have returned to work and are helping the people of Houston repair their lives. It would be easy for them to feel sorry for themselves but not a single one does. They know that with the help of friends and family they will make it through this stronger. Thank you!
