Harvey High School Softball

The softball equipment will be used on a daily basis by our Varsity and Junior Varsity teams. Our players come from low-income neighborhoods. Most of them are just starting to play softball as teenagers. Our high school also has a $40 pay to participate fee. The personal cost of the sport turns many of our young girls away.
Who is Holding the Rope?
Every year there are winners and losers in every sport. Every year the winners overcome the fear of failure and HOLD THE ROPE. If you prepare well by listening, learning, and providing effort when your coaches & teammates ask for it & most importantly – HOLD THE ROPE – we Red Raiders will be successful. In order for a team to win and win consistently, each member must choose to commit totally to each other and the team’s goals.
We are looking for donors to HOLD THE ROPE and commit to our team goals in our hour of need. We have a group of young ladies who do the right thing, excel in the classroom and work hard to get better every day.
