Harvey’s dental

a few years ago, i rescued a cat who had been found with a broken jaw and had to have part of it and most of his teeth removed for it to heal. well, i noticed recently that his gums are red so i took him to the vet today and he has pretty bad stomatitis and will need extractions. the vet wants him to have dental radiographs before the extractions, to make sure they don’t fracture his jaw again during the procedure. they don’t have the ability to do those because it’s a small town vet, so he would need to go to a bigger vet about an hour away from us. the estimate for the pre-x-ray exam, bloodwork before anesthesia, anesthesia, and full mouth x-ray, is $500-$750. then the estimate for the dental, is $430-$500. so we’re looking at MINIMUM of $1,000 for the whole thing. he will feel so much better once these teeth are out, so i want to do this asap. if you’re able to donate, I’d appreciate it so very much.
