501c(7) non-profit social organization recently established with the goal of providing training and social network opportunities to benefit life insurance agents in the city of Houston.
With the recent Harvey Disaster, the Officers and Board members have decided to raise funds to support associates who were severely flooded in their homes and had to be evacuated. The urgency of raising and releasing the funds comes with the knowledge that only 20% of Houston homeowners have wind and flood insurance, and the time it would also take before FEMA would be able to release funds to cover a portion of the repair.
Depending on the funds raised, the officers and board members would also like to provide monetary aid to those who lost their vehicles due to the severe flooding.
We have identified some of the families and individuals affected.
