Hello - This is Pete Redondo, VP of Sales for Regency, and I work in the Dallas office. I am appealing to all of you with the support of the President and Managing Partner, Eric Beguelin , and Regency corporate.
Some of our Regency family have been seriously affected by Hurricane Harvey, which according to according to the National Weather Service, is “unprecedented and all impacts are unknown.”
Several employees from Manning's have been evacuated from their homes. Gonzalez has an office and a residence in Rockport, both which took a direct hit. This is a life changing event.
I am appealing to everyone within the organization to make a contribution to help meet any immediate needs of those affected in Texas. I am setting a modest goal of $3000 by September 7th. From my own experience, I feel like my small contribution doesn't make a difference, but it will.
The money will be distributed to employees of Manning's and RWG Gonzalez who have been displaced from their homes. I will directly work with ownership of those franchises to guide me in distributing the money appropriately, according to need, to help defray costs for housing, food/water, clothes, etc.
