Hurricane Harvey Flooded My Home

My name is Jeanie Mulvey-Massey originally from Newton, Illinois. I now live in Pearland, Texas. Unfortunately, my home was completely destroyed by Hurricane Harvey and the flooding. My husband, Max Gary Massey Jr., and I evacuated our home as the waters began to rise inside of it. Escaping with a few changes of clothes, our pet, and our medications only. We have lost EVERYTHING!!
     Currently my husband and I are sleeping on a blow up mattress in the center of my daughter's living room, being kept dry, and being fed hot meals. My daughter doesn't have a spare bedroom for us since she has 4 kids of her own, but we are making due.

Several friends and family have asked how they can help me so I have created this fund per their request.

   Financially, my husband and I do not work and collect social security disability which doesn't even cover our monthly expenses of bills, food, & medication. My daughter pays our remaining monthly living expenses that we can't meet.
     We DID NOT HAVE FLOOD INSURANCE. 
Homeowners insurance DOES NOT cover any damages by flood to either the structure of my home or it's contents.  Our homeowners policy did cover a small portion of the roof damage due to wind driven rain, but the deductible of $4,800 is also an additional expense that we need help with. Our car insurance policy gave me $2,900 to use to rpelace our flooded vehicle, but I need an additional $7,000 help in order to replace that vehicle with a dependable used car.
      I did file for assistance through FEMA,  and as of 9/21/2017 I have recieved a total of 11,487.87 from FEMA which is only a small fraction of what the total costs to replace the structure of my home, and all home contents.
     I am asking for help towards the remaining costs of furnishing my entire home, replacing all major appliances, for rebuilding my home with electrical, sheetrock, flooring,  cabinets, etc.  All money will benefit me directly. I will also update any donations I may receive via postal mail and include it in the total amount raised as I strive to be completely transparent about where the money is going.
     Our entire country is reaching out to Hurricane Harvey victims wanting to do something and it is a beautiful example of how strong and united our country actually is. If you or your church group, civic group, or some other organization is wanting to help someone who is in desparate need please consider me.
     With your help, I can get back into my home, so that I can at least return to some resemblance of normalcy.
