My 2 Daughters were displaced during Hurricance Harvey this week. My eldest, Jennifer, had her entire 1st floor of her apartment flooded with tainted bayou floodwaters. Jennifer lost her master bedroom, kitchen appliances and living room furniture for her 3 children. My youngest, Jessica, was able to return to her 2 story apartment after the floodwaters subsided with her son but I'd hope we could assist her with incidentals during this tough transition period. Jennifer has applied for FEMA financial assistance but who knows how long that bureaucratic process will take. These Financial Donations will be utilized to replace necessary furniture, appliances, food and essentials for 2 distinct families of relatives. Any unused funds will be accountable and promptly distributed to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund for the Gulf Coast.
