Harvey relief for the Paynes

Hey everyone, this is Marina Payne writing on behalf of my parents, Tom & Rose Payne. Their home (and my childhood home) that they have lived in for 30 years was flooded last weekend during Hurricane Harvey.
In the wake of Harvey's devastation, many friends and family have reached out wondering how they can help our family. As our parents face the task of replacing sheet rock, appliances, flooring and more, they are digging into their life savings to rebuild.
Unfortunately, they were just denied by FEMA and they did not have flood insurance. (Although they had flood insurance from 1993-2011 and had never flooded previously.)
We are fortunate that they are safe and to have plenty of people helping the rebuilding process. While so many others have lost everything, please consider helping my sweet parents stay on their feet during this difficult time. If you are inclined to help, the most effective option would be a donation to help purchase necessities at places like Lowes and Home Depot.
