Harvey Relief for Sarah & her boys!

Our sweet friend, Sarah Haden has recently lost everything she owns due to the significant flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey. Like so many in the Houston area, Sarah's home and car were quickly overcome with rising waters from the significant rainfall; then innundated a second time with the scheduled water releases from the Addicks and Barker Reservoirs into Buffalo Bayou.
I am one of Sarah's friends, located here in Houston. We first met when our boys were in the same class together at Holy Spirit Episcopal School years ago. Sarah has become one of my closest friends - I'm sure many feel the same way! She is kind and giving, a wonderful single mother to her two precious young boys: Luke (age 5) and Haden (age 8), a strong Christian woman (member of First Baptist Church), and a dedicated speech therapist for the SBISD.
Sarah and her boys have come on hard times now, as their home and vehicle still remain under more than 4 feet of water, and she could really use the love and support of her friends in the Houston community! As Sarah faces this difficult road ahead, she will need to use the donated funds from this gofundme account to try to rebuild her life and provide a new home for her and the boys. These funds will be set aside to help them get back on their feet with necessities such as clothing, shoes, vehicle-related expenses, replacing damaged furniture, etc.
