Harvey Relief for 4 Katy Families

Friends and family,
Your outpouring of support and concern over the last week has been incredibly appreciated. Our house in Katy, TX is safe and dry and we have opened our doors to friends who were in an evacuated area. It could be weeks before people are able to go back to assess the damage.
While our family was fortunate to not experience any damage to our home, many of our friends cannot say the same.
This is my friend and fellow Kansas Citian Lindsey and her family evacuating by boat. She lives just 10 minutes from us. They are staying with friends and safe and sound, but they have flooding in their house. Again, Lindsey feels like she is one of the lucky ones - blessed to have flood insurance. Many of her neighbors and friends are not so fortunate. (Side note, Lindsey is 8 months pregnant and a total rockstar staying calm and positive during this hurricane.)
We have been innundated with texts and phone calls asking what you can do to help. A donation to support our friends and neighbors as they wait for the waters to subside and to go back in and rebuild would make a huge difference to them financially.
We will use your donations to provide cash gifts to 4 local families in our community without flood insurance who are facing massive financial burdens. I will withdraw the money raised, and evenly distribute funds to the following families:

-Patino Family
-Quinn Family
-Wallace Family
