Harvey: Rebuilding for Teachers

Teachers are amazing 365 days a year—even during Hurricane Harvey and a devastating flood.
Briggs teacher Ms. Pam, was flooded in her home and had to be evacuated—she spent this past week in a shelter. Despite all of our offers she stayed in the shelter until she could return home—she is now home and beginning the daunting task of clean up and rebuilding. We are starting this fundraise to help offset their hardship with immediately available funds to help them purchase needed supplies, clothing, furniture, and logistics for rebuilding their home. This fundraiser will help cover expenses for Ms. Pam and other teachers in our neighborhood and community who have experienced losses. Ms Pam is not the only teacher affected, so funds not used by Ms. Pam will be redirected and passed on to other local teachers who are also trying to replace their losses.
Ms. Pam and teachers like her go above and beyond to do what’s best for their students on a daily basis—we want to do the same for them!

Briggs LOVES his teacher Ms. Pam and was so concerned with her safety in the flood and for his school. Ms. Pam cares for and loves on Briggs and the children in her class everyday—she is a remarkable example of a teacher--she shows the children compassion every day. This is an opportunity for us to return our care and compassion for the teachers, please help them recover and rebuild.
