Harvey Help 4 Mike & Andrea Kehres

Campaign info:  This campaign is for Andrea, and her husband Mike Kehres, both retired, of New Caney (Houston area) TX as a result of Hurricane Harvey.   Andrea and Mike were rescued by a boat and spent two nights on the floor of a rescue shelter.  They are temporarily staying with a family member in that area.  This photo is their home in New Caney--they have lost their home (no flood insurance) and everything inside with the exception of prescription medication and the clothes on their backs.  The house shifted off the foundation and will be demolished. 

Who I am:  Paula Wieser Foster.  Andrea and I are first cousins on our mothers' side of the family.  I'm the family disaster recovery coordinator and a 35+ year civil servant employed by a federal law enforcement agency at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base OH.  As the recovery coordinator, I am soliciting donations on their behalf and am responsible for tracking and quickly getting donations to them.

Urgency:   Their most urgent need is funding to sustain them until they they can leave TX and then through transition and resettling somewhere between Tiffin and New Washington OH.  We don't know the actual amount of money they need to recover yet; but, we do know their entire life has been wiped out, and their family home is gone.  On behalf of Andrea and Mike, and the rest of our family, thank you for taking time to read our campaign.  We would appreciate our readers' prayers and any donations they feel called to offer.
