Harvey Hay Run

Who we are and where we are from: Our names are Joe and Bel Hall and we live on a farm called Koomarlin South in Cookernup, Western Australia, which is in the Harvey Shire. Our relationship to the parties we are raising funds for: We began the Hay Run to take much needed fodder to rural communities devastated but the recent bushfires in NSW.  We had to do something to help and fodder (hay) seemed like the logical option as we had that available.  We are raising the funds to pay for the uncontrollable cost of Diesel to operate the 11 road trains that have made the journey there and back with all driver time and other costs donated. How the funds will be spent: The 11 road trains who have already made the return trip from WA to NSW have either used their own funds to cover the cost of the fuel.  It has always been our intention to use the funds from Go Fund Me along with other funds raised to cover this unavoidable cost. Everything else has been donated from time, drivers through to emergency supplies and hay. The drivers who have yet to be reimbursed and will be from these funds are as follows: Tim Bowman of T &M Road Haulage, Sandy MacPherson of Sanmel Contracting, Brett Catalano of B & J Catalano, Danny Jaimeson of B & J Catalano, Tom Rose driving for himself, Joe Hall driving for himself, Trent Cole driving for himself, Rob Muldoon driving for Cowara Contracting, Tom Skudder driving for Cowara Contracting, Phillip Slattery driving for Hulls Contracting, Shane Tyson driving for himself. These drivers all reside in WA and thank you for the support. What happens once you donate: We thank you so much for your donations.  We will withdraw the funds as they come in to my personal account that can be verified by Go Fund Me, from there the funds will be transferred to the Harvey Hay Runs Community Solutions account where it will be disbursed to the drivers listed above.  The fuel costs for each driver averages approximately $8000 for the return journey.  We will reimburse the funds to the drivers upon release to us and will update this story as this occurs.
