Harvey Devastates Rockport Family!

Donation protected

My father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kerry and Deborah Peyton suffered severe damage to their mobile home and all their belongings when Rockport took a direct hit by Harvey.

After years of struggle and Kerry battling lung cancer, Deb and Kerry had finally saved enough to buy their mobile home in June of this year.  By July they had finally moved most of their sentimental items out of storage and into their new home.  Kerry's greatest hope was to be able to provide for his wife in the event he does not survive the lung cancer and that Deb would have a place to call home.  As they settled in, they got the news that Kerry's lung cancer is responding to treatment and they dared to have a flicker of hope they could live out their days in their beautiful new home watching sunsets on the porch in their rocking chairs.

On August 25th, Kerry and Deb reluctantly left their home with nothing but a few days of clothes and their pets.  We are a strong, resilient family and will love and support them through this tragic loss.  The most urgent need for them is money for temporary housing in the surrounding area so that Deborah may return to work when it is safe.  They will also need money for clothes, toiletries, etc...  We expect them to be in temporary housing for an extended time and they may need other household items and pet items.

Anything is helpful.  No amount is too small.  We ask for your prayers as well.  Thank you.
