Harvey damage support for Dr. Jones

Dr. Edith Irby Jones has lived in her house at 3402 South Parkwood Drive in Houston, Texas for 53 years. In 2016 her home insurance company refused to renew her flood insurance due to the age and condition of the home. She was unable to make the repairs they requested because of her fixed income and medical bills.  With the recent and continued damage caused by Hurricane Harvey, Dr. Jones needs your help to repair her home. The excessive rains have destroyed her roof and the flooding indoors has caused water damage that will result in mold and mildew in the walls without proper treatment.  She estimates that complete remediation will cost $70,000, but hopes federal funding and non-profit support will assist with 50% of those costs.  Please help Dr. Jones repair the damage caused by Hurricane Harvey so that she can continue to reside in her home as a role model in our community for many more years.
