Harvey Damage- Replace Sakura's Car

Sakura has been my mom and step dad's caregiver in Sugar Land for the past two years. They are both restricted to wheel chairs, and Sakura helps them with their daily needs. She goes above and beyond her job description to increase their quality of life. She developed a great friendship with my mom and has truly become a part of our family. Unfortunately, her job barely pays enough to make ends meet raising her three kids.

During the beginning of Harvey's flooding, Sakura made it to the house to help prepare for the upcoming storm and help my mom get ready for bed, then she headed home to check on her kids. It was dark after she left our house, and she did not see the high water a couple of blocks away. After flooding her car, she had it towed back to our house, where it remained for the rest of the storm. Our neighborhood (as pictred) flooded very heavily and totaled her car. Her insurance did not cover the damage, and now she is left without transportation to and from work. Sakura has done so much for our family and always has such a giving heart, and I want to be able to do the same for her. We are trying to raise money for a replacement vehicle so that she can get to and from work and get her kids where they need to be. Any money that is extra will be given to her to help with additional expenses at home. When the goal is reached, or at the end of two weeks (whichever comes first), I will withdraw the money and present it to Sakura.
