Harvey Animal Relief Fund

Hi, my name is Alex Brun! I go to high school in Olney, Maryland and am collecting funds for The United States Humane Society. As a result of Hurricane Harvey, many innocent animals like dogs and cats have been left stranded in their flooded homes. Many of them are hungry and in need of assistance. The Humane Society of the United States has already released a team to find the abandoned animals, but they are always in need of donations. I have always been passionate about animals and their well-being. In fact, I have a nine-year old dog who is an affectionate and trustworthy friend to me. Seeing the many images of abandoned, helpless, and worried dogs and cats literally breaks my heart. During the next several weeks, clean-up from the devastating damage will occur and funds for the numerous pets are still needed. All donations will be sent directly to The Humane Society of the United States. Thank you so much.
