Insight of my Journey (February 17th, 2010)
My name is Amb. Harry Okeke, I am 34yrs of age from West Africa (Nigeria).
11 years ago, I got a vision from God as a young man and in that vision I saw families suffering and dying of poverty. The angel of the lord took me up and asked me to look down and behold what I saw made me to cry. He now told me that I have been selected by God to save his people from poverty, to restore peace to the broken hearted and also to give hope to the hopeless.
After which I was given a scroll to read the instructions that will guide me towards achieving this vision . In the same vision I saw the future of Harry's Foundation globally but I was told the journey won't be easy that I have to be a forerunner and conquer many obstacles on my path then after which the world will follow me.
As young as I was, the zeal to bring positive change to the lives of the less privilege ate me up, I couldn't think straight because the vision was so heavy on me. My journey through out was very challenging, I have to travel round with my foot to tell people about my vision in other to gain support, some listened, and gave me little support, whereas some called me names and spat on me but I never gave up, I worked tirelessly to let the world believe in my vision.
I also faced lot of set backs, I took ill and stayed weeks in the hospital because the enemy the devil was out to kill me but God sent his angels to keep watch over me even while in the hospital.
But God being faithful I got it registered as a nonprofit in Nigeria, before I left the country to USA to further my education. My beloved mother "Leaticia Okeke" was managing the foundation while I was away. And now, I have completed my education and acquired a lot of experiences and skills, its time to get this dynamic vision back on ground.
Please I will need your generous support towards this vision as we have lined up projects to accomplish in Nigeria and then other parts of the poor African countries . I believe together we can make a huge difference in the lives of the less privilege individual."
