Harry was diagnosed last week with lung and brain cancer.  This of course was devastating news to Harry and his family.   Harry had what he thought was a bad cold and cough for about a week, when he went to the hospital and was admitted.  Harry has lived in Stone County for 19 years, where he and his wife Jennifer have raised their 3 children.  Harry has worked for McGuire Design & Construction in Gulfport MS for the past 15 years.  Harry served in the US Navy for 6 years and has been volunteering with the Stone County Fire Service and Wiggins Fire Department for the past 3 years.   He recently became an Emergency Medical Technician and is working part time with Stone County Hospital Ambulance Service.  Harry has always been willing to serve others in their time of need, from serving his country and now volunteering and serving his community.   Harry starts treatment, Chemo and Radiation, this week, June 3rd.  The family is asking for prayers and support during this trying time, so much has happened and changed in their lives in the past 2 weeks.  Of course, Harry is unable to work during his time of treatments, at least 4 weeks of treatment and then recovery time, and will be in need of any support they can receive.   This will be a long process for Harry and his family, please keep them and their medical teams in your prayers.
