The Harrisville Food Pantry needs our help!
Some communities have suffered some tragic events in the past few days, months and years. It makes me think back to my community, where I have so many fond memories. I haven’t lived in Harrisville in over 40 years, but I travel back frequently where I find it the same quaint, authentic place where I grew up. It was a community built on strong character and established a good work ethic. A place that I am glad to call home.
Well folks, there are some members of our community that are having some hard times. Not every month, but at certain times when times get tough. Rod & Ebby Fraser established the Harrisville Food Pantry over 5 years ago for this very reason; to help those in their time of need. They are spending in excess of $700 per month, producing over 900 meals per for members of our community. In past years, there were large donations along some State & Federal grants, but the funds are slowly dwindling. I am asking for your help to fund the food pantry. Please donate to this fund and feel great about helping out one of your own. 100% of monies collected will stay local and be distributed by Rod & Ebby to those in need.
