Dear Family, friends, and generous strangers,
Our names are Arran and Christine (otherwise known as mama and daddy), our first born is Harper. Harper is a very smiley, vocal baby who always has her fingers in her mouth and drools all day, she loves watching her dog run around and play.
Harper was diagnosed with CPT ( congenital pseudarthrosis of the tibia) when she was born on March 31st. Even with our insurance, and Harper only being two months old, we have been weighed down by bills from diagnosing, imaging, X-rays, sonograms, genetics tests etc ...and from Harper's point of view being poked and prodded every week. Sadly this is just the beginning of a painful road for Harper's leg and foot. Arran and I have become a one income family due to the amount of time and care Harper will need to aid in her development while casted, bracing, surgeries and tharapy. Unfortunately we are looking at 14 years of work on her now very little leg and foot.
We still cannot wrap our minds around what is in store for our little girl, but we are coming to the conclusion that we cannot handle this alone. We are hoping to begin with getting us though the first six months of surgeries and hoping that we are able to keep up financially to follow through with the timeline the doctors have recommended. We appreciate any and all help, along with well wishes and support for our new family.
