Harnett County Hurricanes AAU Football

The Harnett County Hurricanes is a non-profit AAU Football and Cheer team that was established in 2014 to help at-risk youth in a low income community use their potential for something positive to keep them off the streets and away from violence.  Since its existence, we have provided guidance and training to over 150 boys and girls.   The Coaches and Staff take pride in providing drills, training and mentoring on and off the field and make the organization the best it can be.  Our organization has had a great impact on our community and has brought life and excitement back into the eyes of the youth as well as the elders that come and support our teams. 

Unfortunately, last Saturday (July 27, 2019), the unthinkable happened to our entire organization, someone stole our black 6x12 closed-in trailer with everything we own in it.  Some of the items contained in the trailer were: 75 shoulder pads on shoulder pad stand, 80 helmets on helmet stands, 15 pair of cleats, 75 uniform jerseys, field markers, Pylons, deluxe chains, 8-8 foot tables, 12 chairs, 6 large tents, generator, electric scoreboard, machine to paint the field, dummies, footballs, 30 water bottles in the crates, field cones, agility ladders, strength training chutes and other items.  In addition to those items, we don't have any lights on the field so we had 6 LED telescopic lights.  The items we had in the trailer were estimated at $30,000.  

Thanks for supporting our phenomenal athletics who have been to the finals three years in a row.  Any donations are greatly needed and we are very appreciative of the monetary donations we have received thus far.
