Let’s Make Music Campaign for the Serenade, Kade’s

Nothing brings together people quite like play and music.   Kade’s Playground, the only inclusive playground in  Jefferson County, provides both to people of all ages and abilities.    Since 2015, this destination play space including a Splash Zone has enabled tens of thousands of families the ability to embrace the limitless world of play.   A labor of love by a community who pulled together to make it happen has fulfilled its promise to ensure that children with and without disabilities play together and a child’s fundamental right to play is honored.   All belong here.

 

Due to the high volume of visitors, one of Kade’s Playground’s musical pieces is worn and in need of replacement.  We are asking our community to help us fund a new Musical Harmony instrument recently released to the playground market.     The Serenade is a high quality, real harmonic instrument that allows everyone from novice to expert musician to be engaged.     This piece will join the ensemble of others currently at Kade’s in the music section.  It will have a weather coated music book offering various songs that can be played by note or color.   People of all ages can make music just by following a color key.  

 

There is no art form more widely embraced by human beings than music.   Discoveries have illuminated the power of music on the physical, emotional and mental health of the individual and connectedness of the community. 

 

For this celebration of GIVING TUESDAY, we are asking you to make a gift towards the purchase of the Serenade.   We have secured an investment from Cardinals Care already along with a gift from a community donor.    We need your help to fund the remainder of $5,000
