Harley Needs a Kidney

Donation protected
On January 2nd, 2018 my 20 year old little brother, Harley fell while snowboarding and smacked his head. An EMT who was skiing, saw him sliding down the mountain on his back, luckily, he had his helmet on. They rushed him to the hospital and took labs and a CT of his brain. They found he had a seizure and that the fall caused a small brain bleed. They assured us everything was going to be ok. Not five minutes later, two more doctors came in and told us his lab results showed he was in renal failure. His kidney's are no longer working. They have him on dialysis while we wait for the final results of his kidney biopsy. His nephrologist has told us he is borderline stage 5 renal failure. Harley had little to no symptoms of renal failure, it was a happy accident that he fell and had to have his blood work done. We are waiting on the offical results of his kidney biopsy, but he has been perscribed dialysis three times a week. This is a complete shock to everyone who knows Harley. He loves to ski and snowboard and play with his two puppies, Olie and Noot. For Harley to get close to normal, he will either be on dialysis for the rest of his life or need a kidney transplant. This is not something anyone saw coming and we are hoping to raise enough money to give him a kidney transplant. Anything helps! Even words of encouragement. Thank you for reading. #newyearnewkidney
