Harlequins Canadian Championship

The Brantford Harlequins, as a result of their 2017 campaign, won their right to be Ontario's entry in the newly formed Canadian Club Championships (http://canadianclubchampionship.com/ ), hosted by the Canadian Rugby Foundation.

On the Labour Day long week, 20 Quins made the long-trek to play the Montreal Irish RFC in Montreal for the Quarter-finals, coming away with a 39-35 win and securing their spot in the National Championships "Final Four". 

The Championships will be held in Vancouver, BC over the Thanksgiving Weekend, with semi-finals on Oct 5th and finals on Oct 7th.

As we need to travel a full squad (23!) of athletes to BC, we are looking to the Ontario Rugby Family to help us with the costs of this endeavor, and showcase the quality of rugby in Ontario to the rest of the country.

It is our firm belief that it is because we play against quality competition week in and week out in the Marshall Premiership Division here in Ontario that has enabled us to reach the level of rugby we are currently blessed with. We now need your financial help to prove that to British Columbia, Albert and Nova Scotia - the 4 other regional winners of the Canadian Club Championship quarter-final. 

We are coming into this competition on a high - having started the defense of our back-to-back McCormick Cup wins and now the three-time winner of the Marshall League regular season championship. 

Any little bit will help our athletes take "Ontario Rugby" on the road to the rest of the country, and hopefully come back with a little hardware we can all share in!!!!!
