<div>Dag allemaal! Ik ben Lars Hillewaere en op 15 mei 2025 - de internationale dag van de Noordzee - ga ik mijn twee grootste passies combineren: duurzaamheid en hardlopen.

<div>Op die dag ga ik namelijk 100 km hardlopen, van Cadzand (Nederland) tot Bray-Dunes (Frankrijk), waarbij ik de <strong>volledige Belgische kust</strong> afleg.

<div>Ik haal met deze actie ook geld op voor <strong>Go Ocean</strong>. Deze start-up opgericht door 2 ondernemende Vlaamse dames herstelt de biodiversiteit in onze oceanen, die ernstig onder druk staat door menselijke activiteiten. Dat doen ze door o.a. het aanleggen van mangroves, koraalriffen en oesterbanken.

<div>Elke euro is welkom, maar het mooist voor mij zou zijn als we genoeg ophalen voor een <strong>eco-blok in de haven van Blankenberge</strong>, waar ik ook langs kom op 15 mei! Zo'n blok is onderdeel van de strekdam, maar dient tegelijkertijd ook als habitat voor allerlei kleine zeediertjes. Zo wil Go Ocean het leven naar de haven terugbrengen.
