Hard times for the Evans Family

Hello friends,
I am creating this Gofund me to ask for help for my kids and I during this difficult time. As many of you know, this time last year I had my first surgery, which was then followed by 2 more. The loss of income due to time off for recovery and the mounting medical bills during that time from September to May, were a devastating blow. When I did return to work, the facility I worked at could not supply full time hours, so the income has not been dependable. But the final blow as of yesterday, was that I was laid off effective immediately, due to continued low census. I am in shock. The company I worked for for 3 years, claims they are giving me a $500 VISA gift card as my severance. Tomorrow will be my final check. I have applied for unemployment and any and all benefits I can, and am actively looking for work. But all of that takes time.
I am a single mom of 2 great kids, who over the past 2 and a half years, have struggled with a divorce, mom being sick and now the uncertainty of if their mom will find work again and what our future holds, I hate to ask for help, as I have needed so much the past year and a half, but here I am.
The monthly expenses will start to come in the first week of October and will continue to come in though the month. I will not be able to afford them.
Anything you can spare is greatly appreciated, more than I can express. My friends have been supportive and so kind and I thank you for that.
