Hello world, it's David Boone, long time front desk associate, short time property manager of your beloved Harbour House at the Inn. In the wake of the hurricane all of our housekeepers lost basically all of their belongings to neck high floodwaters in their homes in the area of the Summerlin/San Carlos intersection. I am setting this fundraiser up on my own in an attempt to help restore some comfort and humanity to their lives in the form of furniture. The first $6000 raised will go directly to the wishlists given to me by Ana and the rest of the former staff. Anything raised beyond $6000 will be disbursed evenly between the employees as needed to supplement already lost wages and fill in any gaps between that point and whenever they regain employment.

With that groundwork laid, let me make the following personal appeal: Without Ana I would not have lasted for 10.5 years at Harbour House. I have never met someone who took so much pride in her work, Ana was always moving, always directing our housekeepers efficiently and with a smile. She was great with all of our guests and owners and I don't think you could find a single person over the years who had a negative experience with her. We all took pride in the cleanliness of our rooms and the way they presented vs the rest of the island. A trained monkey could have done the job that Cassie and I were in charge of, but Ana and our housekeeping staff were truly the beating heart of that operation. Ana never asked for anything, and even after meeting up with her to give her a paycheck after losing basically all of her belongings she was still wearing a smile and trying to find the positives. I am asking as David Boone the human, separate from all current Harbour House situations: "Please donate so that I may take my current abundance of time, and use it to restore some comfort to the people I should thank most for keeping me employed for so long."
