HappyMango Productions is a digital company staging live theatre and film. The company was created by three Aussie based artists; Alexander, Chris and Tamara, sprung out of a number of weekly script readings during COVID-19.
HM Productions mission is to connect people through story-telling and support inclusivity and diversity in our industry.

FUNDRAISER AND INITIATIVE:
"We want to move people to make massive positive change, to create a cascade effect that impacts our environment and our human family". - Chris Masters Mah.
This 'GoFundMe' fundraiser goes toward future projects with HM Productions and the artists involved, whether the production is staged live or through a digital medium. As a social enterprise, we want to continue to support charities and initiatives, starting with 'Pay The Rent'.
We live, work and play on land that was forcibly taken from Aboriginal people. There has been no Treaty with the First Nations of this place and the effects of colonisation continue to this day.
We want to act NOW in solidarity with Aboriginal people.
30% of the contributions made from this Fundraiser will go to 'Pay The Rent' an initiative started up in Melbourne, although, there are non Indigenous Australians paying to support this initiative, we believe this is simply insufficient to support such a great cause.
Non Indigenous Australians are given the opportunity to support initiatives controlled specifically by traditional land owners.
The initiative works to support Aboriginal and Indigenous rights and their fight for self determination and economic independence.

OUR FIRST SHOW:
"We did this, so that we could connect again, in lockdown. To step into another world and share a story." - Alexander Forras.
Our first show involves 12 actors from Sydney and Melbourne via Zoom. The actors came together in early September to devise, rehearse and produce a show during COVID.
The great pause of COVID-19 has turned theatres dark and so HM Productions aim is to stage this and future production theatrically, when theatres are opened up.

We really appreciate your support, and want to give a massive thank you to the brilliantly talented, kind and generous actors involved.
We would like to acknowledge the Aboriginal people as the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and create art. We pay our respects to elders past and present of the Wurrundjeri and Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin nation and the Gadigal people of the Eora nation.
We acknowledge that a treaty was never signed and sovereignty was never ceded. This is and always will be Aboriginal land.
