Happiness for Lanee

This is my friend Lanee.... Lanee is one of the sweetest people you could possibly get to know. She doesn't ask for much from life outside of happiness for those around her and some simple things to keep her comfortable. Lanee works as a receptionist for Gradient Financial Group and doesn't live a life for the rich and famous, but she is one of the happiest and sweetest people I know.
Unfortunately she has recently been diagnosed with an intrusive brain tumor that will have life altering changes for her. We are fortunate that she has the opportunity to fight this struggle thanks to her eye doctor being so persistent and continuing to contact her until she went in for a check-up after some irregularities from a routine eye exam.
The tumor has attached itself to the pituitary gland and pituitary stem. It has also attached to one eye socket leaving the doctors anguished and at ends on how, or whether, this can be separated. On February 26th, Lanee will go in for an exploratory biopsy of the tumor so that the doctors can determine the type and extent to which this tumor exists. I won't go into detail, but the short story is the doctors are uncertain at this point.
Regardless of the outcome of the surgery, Lanee is going to be in recovery for at least six weeks and will be out of work with many medical bills so be paid. I don't usually ask anyone for anything, but I'm hoping that if you are reading this message you could find it in your heart to help Lanee out with her struggles.
I have set the goal at $4,000 although her needs will far exceed this measure. Anything you could find in your heart to give will be greatly appreciated. As Lanee plans both a recovery and unfortunately her final wishes as the outcome may not be positive, I'm hoping we can provide at least a little comfort and happiness in her time of need.
