Happiness for Amadou

Donation protected
Hello,
My name is Vincent and I'm here to help raise some donations for my friend Amadou and his stepmother Fatou.
He lives in The Gambia in West Africa and struggles day to day with simple things like food freshwater clothing and keeping a roof over his head. When I first met him he just turned 16yrs and he was living with his grandmother who was pretty much bedridden she had two broken legs that were never properly fixed so that made it so that she couldn't walk on her own. So like a good grandson Amadou took care of her the best that he could.
It's a different way of life over there especially when we're talking about poverty. Being as young as he is he can't legally work until he is 18 yrs old
so it's hard for him to make money. The only thing that he can really do is go into the Forest and collect wood and sell bundles of wood. But that in itself is very dangerous because there are gangs that live in the outskirts around the forests and they have been known to kill people coming into their area for no reason at all. So his grandmother really doesn't like when he does that for money so he has to either do it behind her back which he doesn't like to do or he has to rely on social media and the very small group of (3) friends that he has made to help him.
Unfortunately his grandmother passed away about 6 months ago and it really broke him because she was his world. His parents died separately when he was young so she and his stepmother Fatou were the ones that raised him. I am very grateful to have have the chance to speak with his grandmother minutes before she passed away.
She told Amadou that she wanted to say goodbye to me before she left. She always had a smile on her face and I'm going to miss that smile.
Soon after she passed away to small little concrete shed that they were living in was destroyed by a flood so he had to gather what he could salvage and move into another small living space with his stepmother.
I love Amadou like a little brother that I've never had and that I've always wanted. That's a big reason why I'm doing this is because I care about him so much. By myself I'm not able to give him all the help he needs. But I do have faith that there are plenty of kind-hearted human beings that are willing to help and that want to help.
So please if you find yourself in a position that you can donate something to help out Amadou and his stepmother I thank you so very much and I know he will be so happy and feel so very blessed.
