Hanson’s Medical Bills

Many of us know the Hansons through Sak Saum and In His Step’s International where they are committed to fighting human trafficking and seeing the broken restored.  During Christmas time, the Hanson family travelled from their home in Cambodia for a quick holiday in Malaysia. On Christmas Day, Aidan (Jess’s son, Eric and Ginny’s grandson) became ill and was brought to the local hospital and released. Aidan retuned to the hospital on the 26th and was admitted to be observed and treated.  Aidans condition turned critical within a few hours and was admitted to  CCU/ICU for several days, the doctors diagnosed Aidan with Severe Diabetes Keto Acidosis. Aidan was discharged from the hospital on January 5th and the Hansons are finally able to head home.

We are thankful for Aidan’s recovery and are praying for them! We are also asking for your help to support Eric, Ginny, Jess, and Aidan with these unexpected medical expenses and expenses that were incurred over the two week stay. The insurance refused to cover most of the costs, leaving the Hansons to pay most expenses out of pocket, hotel, taxi charges to and from the hosptial, hotel room for two weeks, meals, phone cards, lost airline return tickets and the purchase of new airline return tickets.  

As many of you know, Eric, Ginny have committed their life to missions and Jess and Aidan also committed their lives in the fight to free those lost in hopelessness, trafficking, and exploitation. As you can imagine, raising support does not often account for these unimaginable situations. Please consider giving to a family that gives so much, not only their money but every area of their lives to help the once forgotten.
