It is not every day that people are given an opportunity like this one. I am a sophomore at Oral Roberts University- a leading Christian university that embraces a globalized format at home and abroad.
This coming May of 2018, I hope to be traveling to Jerusalem, Israel for a study abroad program. While there, I will investigate the history and geography of biblical sites and events. I will understand and better interpret biblical texts, enhancing my global outlook first hand. This opportunity will enable me to increase respect and appreciation for other cultures while my relationship with God matures and flourishes like never before.
This GoFundMe account will enable me to attend this program without financial worry, allowing me to fully dedicate myself to my studies while in Jerusalem and the surrounding cities. I am expected to start making payments at the beginning of the year. Currently, I am a tutor for college algebra at ORU and I teach on the weekends one-on-one with a young special needs girl at local church in Tulsa.
