Dear friends and family,
I am excited to announce that I've been given the opportunity to do a Discipleship Training School through Youth with a Mission! I will be hopping on a plane in late January 2019, headed to Tauranga, which is located on the northern island of New Zealand. The DTS track I have chosen is called Intimacy to Impact. I will spend 3 months in NZ in an intense, Bible-focused lecture phase, growing in my relationship with Jesus and learning how to do ministry effectively from a place of intimate love with the Father. The track will also be highly focused on intercession and prayer, and learning the importance of being a believer who intercedes for the nations, and for the church, as a lifestyle.
After the Lecture Phase, I will then transition to a 2-month outreach phase to a location in either Southeast Asia or the Pacific Islands, where we will take everything we have learned and apply it to our service on the mission field. I am excited and highly expectant for what God is going to do during this time, and that is why I am reaching out to ask you to partner with me in what the Holy Spirit is doing.
I am currently still needing to raise $6,000 to fund both my Lecture Phase and Outreach Phase. All donations will cover everything from flights to vaccinations, as well as going to help the local churches in both NZ and our Outreach location. I am currently seeking those willing to be monthly sponsors, as well as one-time donors. I am humbly asking you to ask the Lord on how you can be a part of my journey, whether you feel God is leading you financially, or to be a part of my prayer team.
Here are some of the main topics I will need prayer for:
-Safe travels to, and from New Zealand
-Grace as I transition to a new country and new cultures
-An open mind and humble heart to hear and receive all that God wants to give me during these 5 months
-Boldness to share the Gospel without hesitation, and to spread the love of Jesus to the unreached
-Financial provision
