Hannah and Clair take on the MCR Half Marathon

Hi everyone, thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
To raise much needed funds for our local hospice my mum and I are taking part in the Manchester Half Marathon in October!
I am very privileged to have worked as a Nurse at the hospice for the past 5 years so I know what a special place it is. Last year my Gran was lovingly cared for by the amazing Hospice at Home team. The care and support my Gran and the family received was heartwarming and we will be forever grateful.
East Cheshire Hospice relies on fundraising to cover many costs and only receives a small percent from the government. During the pandemic many fundraising events have been cancelled and therefore effecting much needed donations.
We both enjoy running regularly, taking on park runs and recently the Tatton 10K! But we now want to challenge ourselves with a half marathon and will be training hard to increase our miles! Wish us luck!!
