Dear Friends-
As we all know, parts of Southern California have been devastated by wild fires over the course of the last week. While this has been disruptive to the normal course of our lives, the majority of us have mercifully only been observers to these tragic events.
Unfortunately, our West Region National Accounts extended family has been impacted by these fires. Specifically, our friend and co-worker, Rain Brigham (West Region Account Executive) has more than one immediate family member who lost their homes and belongings in the Ventura fire. Thankfully, they all got out safely, but we want to help.
Rain's sister-in-law, Tracy Shelton Hanna, and her two young children, Solstice (4) and Be (1), have lost much this year. In addition to the Ventura fire which destroyed their home, they also lost Rain's brother, Cause -- Tracy's husband and the children's father -- to cancer a few short months ago. While they will always have and cherish their memories of him, many of the mementos of their lives together were lost this past week, as well.
While we clearly can't replace the irreplaceable, we can help them get their footing and let them know that an extended family network stands ready to support them in their time of great need.
It is not our intent to create an obligation for anyone to contribute; however, we have set up this GoFundMe site in Tracy's name for us to voluntarily provide our financial support so they can start rebuilding their home, buy clothes and everyday essentials. Your thoughts and prayers for the family are equally valuable.
