Save the Hanley Project

Hello all.   My very close friend's husband was laid off some months back . They have 6 children and he recently got a job that moved the family out to Washington.  Well, apparently the landlord has basically, well for lack of a better term, "screwed" them over.  The house is pretty run down.  The water pressure is mininmal,  doors don't lock,  doorknobs don't work,  no seals on doors and windows to keep insects out,  no real ventilation , so it gets ot in the day and pretty chilly at night.  There are cracks all through the house that have been painted over year after year, the floors are a disaster.  The neighbors have told her that the landlord is a slumlord.

What is needed:  Well, they need money to find something suitable for a family.  They are living off savings and school and groceries and such, well it's dwindling.  
I can't give an exact amount, but something has to be better than nothing.  

Other ways to help: If you live close to her get her school supplies or living supplies.  If you're a lawyer, help her out of this place.  Anything to help a family of 8.

Funds are needed ASAP.
