A man from a small village on a small island in the Caribbean with a big heart and a big medical struggle before him. He needs your help in three ways…

The Situation:
In August, Haniff Sutherland visited his local doctor in St. Vincent and the Grenadines because he had pain in his leg. The situation quickly escalated and he was rushed to America to seek better healthcare and resources. He has been diagnosed with a rare cancer. A high-grade sarcoma has enveloped his right femur and femoris muscle. Doctors also fear that the cancer has spread to his lungs. They are currently formulating a treatment plan and the options include amputation of his leg from the hip down, radiation, and chemotherapy.
St. Vincent does not have the medical capabilities to treat Haniff’s condition. However, his medical insurance is primarily for domestic care. Since he is required to seek international care in America, it covers very few of the services. Those that are covered are at a rate of less than 40%. This places a massive medical cost in his own pocket... unless we can help.
The Man:
Haniff’s presence makes everyone around him smile. He is a leader in his church and his faith is strong. With a jovial spirit, he is always quick to lend a helping hand to his community. He has a loving wife, Ronda, and two vibrant young teenagers. Kyle, the oldest, recently graduated as valedictorian of his class and was listed #1 in the country for academic performance. Kristy is a few years younger. She loves animals and creative projects. Being only 49 years old, Haniff is determined to beat cancer. His biggest hope is to be able to support his family as they face the ups and downs of life.
The Need:

In an effort to be transparent, all funds raised will be give directly to Haniff Sutherland to pay his medical bills. This account it being managed by Haniff's cousin Trent who will be responsible for ensuring that he receives these funds. I will be transferring these funds to Haniff via a bank check as and when they come in.
