My Volunteer Trip to Peru

As most of you already know, I am a graduate student at Arizona State University working towards my masters in social work. This summer I have the incredible opportunity to volunteer in Peru for five weeks with Hands On Peru!
Hands On Peru is a nonprofit organization that was created to improve and develop the abilities and skills of deprived children and adolescents in Trujillo. While I am there, I will be working with a team to provide much needed aid to children and adults in the rural areas of Trujillo. During the five weeks, I will be working in Medical Clinics in poor communities where I will have the chance to experience several different medical fields. One of which is Labor and Delivery and another is Psychiatry.
The access to appropriate healthcare is very limited in these regions of Peru, but Hands On Peru has already improved the lives of many Peruvians through their organization. I am hoping that I can be an extra set of hands that can help them improve more lives.
So this is where you guys come in!
The cost of the program is $1650, not including airfare, but any donation can go a long way! Thank you for whatever you can give to help me make a difference in the lives of people in Peru.
