Handicap Housing for the Hackleys

Donation protected
The Hackleys are a special needs family in Branford, CT. The mother, Cynthia and her two sons Charlie and Loiue are all wheelchair bound.  They were victims of abuse by a home health aide who was stealing their rent money, and food stamps.  This lead to her incarceration, but unfortunately, it also lead to them being evicted from their current home.  While we are fortunate enough to have found them a great new home, it has ZERO handicap accessibility.   MN Reale Construction has graciously offered to donate 100% of the labor- widening doorways, widening hallways and creating an open bathroom that will allow them the ability to perform all the daily activities that we all take for granted.  We are raising funds to cover the building and bathroom supplies (lumber, shower fixtures, modified, shower, toilet and sink).   Our hope is to be able to start the remodel on February 1st, so the house will be ready for them to move in before their eviction on February 28th

.  Any and all help is so greatly appreciated by this amazing family in our community!
